Marc Frissard

From a young age, fine French patisserie has always been a passion for Marc Frissard.

In Vendée, France Marc began his 2 year apprenticeship in the craft of cake and pastry making at the age of 15. After working as a Pastry Chef, Chocolatier, Consultant and expanding his craft with trips to Asia, he decided to take his talent, experience and “savoir faire” to Australia. Marc opened his own Patisserie together with his wife and business partner Luana in 2010.

Gâteaux by Marc Frissard, the French Patisserie, began in Hampton where Marc flourished and was able to create to his heart’s desire. The journey continues strong with the shop’s relocation in 2022 to Mentone – Gâteaux Mentone.
